Rachel demon cucks Eric. (Spoilers)

Silent Hill Ascension is many things, primarily idiotic. We return to Eric and the fake behind-the-door demon Rachel who proceeds to talk about how much she enjoyed getting gangbanged by the Foundation behind Eric’s back, and that he’s such a pathetic cuck that he’d come back to her no matter what she told him. Eric and Rachel reconnect and Eric explains that Rachel never wanted to have a child, and maybe she’s not worthy of the Purifier’s light. “I had to convince you to have Faith,” he says like an asshole.

“You have to decide if you’re stable enough to be in a relationship” says Eric who recently considered joining a ritualistic gangbang, to his wife who recently gouged her eye out in a sacrificial ritual and then claims she abandoned the demon duplicate of their daughter to get mauled by demon dogs. They truly deserve each other. Krista explains that Eric doesn’t have to participate in the merging ceremony, but he can just watch. From the closet, with his penis in his hand. If that’s what he prefers. Eric decides to be the center of the gangbang.

Xavier and Eric start making out on the altar in what might be the most awkward yet shockingly best produced segment in this show so far. I’m not sure how good the kissing was given Xavier was wearing a full face mask. The ritual works? I think? Because Faith shows up and is now terrified of her mother for “leaving her” meaning Rachel probably actually abandoned her kid in some form back at that house to get mauled by demon dogs. Or the Purifier showed Faith that her mom would abandon her.

Rachel blames the stranger who brought her daughter back for brainwashing her kid into fearing her, as opposed to that time she abandoned her kid to get mauled by demon dogs. Being a completely reasonable bunch, the Foundation kidnaps the woman for the deed of bringing a child back and Eric interrogates her. Turns out she’s female James Sunderland, returning to the Pennsylvania town after receiving a letter from her dead brother and crashing her car at the city limits.

Meanwhile the Johansen family is dealing with the fallout from Karl leaving. I must have missed the part from the last episode where they pointed out that Eva was not only dead but killed a bunch of people 15 years prior. Which explains why everyone in town hates the family and why Ingrid and Britt didn’t want to talk about her in prior episodes. It also explains why Eva was such a psychopath in Karl’s memory.

Britt suggests a spiritual healing ritual because if there’s one thing we’ve learned from this series it’s that rituals work great and never go wrong at all. Britt says they need to burn some shit in memory of those they’ve lost including Orson, and oh yeah Orson is a character we’re supposed to have faith will return. Good luck. Britt and Astrid start a fire in their house with no ventilation to burn the belongings of their loved ones, I’m not sure what that’s supposed to achieve outside of poisoning both of them. We learn all sorts of things about Orson’s personality that were never in the show.

Oh and then Orson shows up inexplicably, only he’s not talking and is basically catatonic. Nobody in this world where hallucinations of loved ones show up routinely questions that there might be something wrong here. They take Orson to the hospital and lay him out on a bed with half a dozen pillows of which they prop him up on absolutely zero of them. Orson bites the doctor. How much time was Orson missing anyway? There’s really no sense of time progression in this show.

So we leave Chapter 11 with the kids back and that lady from the child services agency seemingly ready to take Orson from Astrid, because it’s really hard to be a parent in a world where everyone is hallucinating all the time and children can literally be kidnapped from locked rooms in blessed sanctuaries.
