Orson is a nitwit. (Spoilers)

What’s new this week on Silent Hill Ascension? Orson is still a nitwit and bites the social worker. The social worker concludes that it’s very likely Orson is exhibiting the same violent tendencies shown by Ingrid and Eva, the latter of which I’ll remind you brutally murdered a bunch of people in town.

Eric follows Nora into the sewers and she explains that this is where she found Faith. Nora once again explains her story that she just happened to find Faith in the sewers and that she doesn’t remember why she was there, but was also following texts from her dead brother into the town. Somehow after what must be months of accumulated monster sightings, hallucinations, demon attacks, rust world encounters, characters losing memories, character losing time, and everything else that’s happened Eric somehow thinks this story is a little sus.

Rachel and Faith go to the woods to meet Xavier for utterly no friggin reason, and then Xavier pulls a knife on Rachel because he thinks the answer is to ritualistically murder her. Rachel takes the knife, being Xavier is incompetent at everything, and stabs Xavier. Then a demon monster shows up and also stabs Xavier and drags his body off. Is this supposed to be sad? They don’t play sad music. Xavier was a sadistic cult leader who coerced people into gangbangs, kidnapping, ritualistic sacrifice, and who wanted to use Faith to usher in his mass suicide with the promise of ascension.

Meanwhile Faith, like Orson, is acting like a sociopathic shithead. She explains that she hates Rachel and so does Nora. Why do all of the televisions show static? Because nobody has consistent personalities, Rachel decides that not only does she want to go back to the Foundation but she wants to usurp Xavier and claim the throne for herself. Is it because she’s jealous that everyone in Pennsylvania is apparently banging Eric except her now? Possibly. Xavier is pissed at Eric for freeing the woman he lured in and kidnapped.

Britt and Nills go out into the woods for something and Britt comes across herself, passed out on the ground and boozed out on the sauce. But is it really Britt? Or is it evil Britt? Britt doesn’t seem phased by the fact that she found a doppelganger that is her but collapsing into a drug addict. She goes home to find Orson rummaging around in the attic and he pulls out a knife and attacks her. Beat his ass, Britt! He’s a child and you’re an adult. Beat the sociopath out of his single braincell coconut noggin.

Rachel and Astrid meanwhile are bonding in the rust world over the fact that their children are sick in the head before they are attacked by a spoopy monster that will in all likelihood disappear in the next scene. Because monster attacks are completely meaningless until they aren’t.
